Welcome to monitoring v0.2 !

The monitor of the Infrastructure Builders' Programme is receiving the informal bump to v0.2.

Informal because part of the ongoing discussion revolves around deciding a versioning system for this project.

If you have followed the evolution of this monitor through the previous episodes, you will find that this version entails a profound rework of the scope and modularity of the system, now able to perform various configurable checks depending on each network node's abilities.

It is expected that these efforts will ultimately lead to the inclusion of numerous decentralised and geodiverse hobbyist operators to the Infrastructure Builders' Programme.

Today the quarterly update about the progress of the Infrastructure Builders' Programme was featured in The Kusamarian' Attempts At Governance (AAG) #35.

After briefly delving about RPC endpoints vs Light-Clients and the IBP vs the Infrastructure Bounty a general report was presented.

We are grateful for the receptivity shown to our results and would like to encourage any parties interested in deploying services in South America as part of the IPB to come forward and apply for professional membership.

More on that directly in the video!

Earlier today, a Pull Request was proposed to the polkadot.{js} wallet to add the endpoints that the Infrastructure Builders' Programme has made available to support the System Parachains (formerly known as "Common Good" Parachains).

With this event, the programme continues to progress its Milestone #2 and the relevant members of the professional route are ratified in their Stage #5.

Well done, everyone! Cheers! 馃嵒

Lots of interesting information and conceptual topics were presented and discussed in the video meeting:

These exchanges will require further meetings until an agreed vision is achieved, and then development will kick full steam! We are looking forward for volunteers in several positions of the tech development team, so feel free to throw your hat in!!!
